who

we

are

Lacher Logistics was founded with a clear goal: to build a dependable, asset‑based system for bulk agriculture. What began with a handful of trailers and one owned truck has grown into a full operation running 40–45+ trucks across the Midwest.

To support owner‑operators and keep freight moving without friction, we’ve built an internal structure designed for consistency and reliability:

-Trailer pool

-Power‑unit division (Red River Valley Enterprises)

-Billing and load tracking

-Upon‑receipt, 15‑day, and standard 30‑day payment terms

-Fuel program with competitve discounts

-Drop‑and‑hook program supported by a pool of 60+ trailers

Today, Lacher Logistics is a trusted provider of bulk transportation and logistics solutions, serving customers across the United States and Canada with an asset‑based, operations‑driven approach.

From the start, our focus was consistency — giving operators a steady base and customers a reliable partner they could count on.

To support owner-operators, we built an internal structure that removes day-to-day friction and keeps freight moving:

-Power-unit division (Red River Valley Enterprises)

ntls trading launched

“We didn’t want to just move product. We wanted to helpcreatethe opportunities thatkeep our trucks moving consistently.”

As freight lanes became more inconsistent, we saw trucks struggling to secure return loadsin certain regions. NTLS Trading was created as a direct solution to that problem. By buying and selling feed byproducts and whole grains, we aligned commodity supply with transportation demand—reducing empty miles and stabilizing freight flow across our network.

This expansion strengthened our model by connecting logistics with the commodity markets that drive it

internal mechanics and mobile repair

taking control of downtime

Downtime has always been one of the most disruptive factors in trucking, especially when equipment depends on external shops with unpredictable timelines. In 2023, we brought repairs in-house by hiring our own mechanics and building a mobile service capability.

This allowed us to control:

-Scheduling

-Repair priorities

-Maintenance standards

-Roadside and on-site response

By managing our own equipment—in the yard, at truck stops, and through mobile repair—we reduced downtime and increased reliability for both our fleet and our owner-operators

Mobile Repair Expansion & Owner-Operator Advancement

We provide the tools, structure, and services in-house to help you get started and keep you moving.

In 2026, we expanded our mobile repair division into Billings, MT, strengthening our ability to support drivers on the road and reduce downtime across the region. This year also marked a major step forward in how we support owner-operators and drivers who want to become owner-operators. We introduced a suite of in-houseprograms designed to remove barriers and help drivers build long-term success:

-Truck rental program

-Used truck purchase program

-Compliance support and onboarding

-Operational guidance to help new owners get established

We take pride in working with people who want to invest in themselves. These programs were built to give drivers a real pathway into ownership—backed by the same systems, support, and consistency that have shaped our company from the beginning.
